Cledo helps UK freelancers, sole traders, and small company directors stay on top of bookkeeping, tax filings, VAT, and mandatory business compliance. We combine data collection, categorisation, reminders, document generation, and filing workflows in one place.

For a one-person company with straightforward finances, managing compliance should not require a finance degree or an expensive retainer. Cledo was built so you can keep records organised, monitor tax obligations, and stay ready for VAT, annual accounts, confirmation statements, and self-assessment — without the admin overhead.

Who we are

Cledo is operated by SGAA Limited, registered in England and Wales. We are a UK company handling UK compliance data under UK GDPR. Our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud Platform (europe-west2, London) with MongoDB Atlas for data storage. Bank connections use TrueLayer's FCA-regulated Open Banking gateway. HMRC integration uses the official MTD APIs.
